Central Queensland University and the auDA foundation have partnered together to create the Open WiFi project to allow every member of the community open and free access to free WiFi. The app collects information of free WiFi hotspots offline which increases opportunity of improving digital inclusion from disadvantaged population. Although the project intended to focus on Indigenous Community, it will be a great tool for every member of the community. This project is completely open-source and we encourage community contribution.
